Chance favors a prepared mind, they say.
But, say, why not,
Mind favors a chance of preparation
Preparation minds a favor of Chance
Favors prepare a Mind of chance
Chance prepares a favorable mind.
Paraphrasing,
Your mind loves to have a chance to be prepared for the unknown
Being heavily prepared makes you abhor Chance stealing all the credit
On the receiving end of too many favors addicts your mind to being chancy
Finally, it is by chance that your thoughts find a favorable-nodding-mind
